Greek Life on Campus
The University of Lethbridge is home to 2 sororities and 1 Fraternity. Kappa Beta Gamma, Delta Eta Iota, and Kappa Sigma. All 3 organizations are governed by the Greek Life Council. Our goal is to work together, to not only make the student experience better, but the community around us. Here is a little bit more information about the other greek life organizations on campus, as well as our GLC representatives!
Kappa Sigma Fraternity
Kappa Sigma is Lethbridge's premier fraternity. It is dedicated to helping its members improve their lives during their time in university, specifically in the areas of scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service - which are the four pillars of Kappa Sigma.
Delta Eta Iota Sorority
Delta Eta Iota is a local sorority at the University that was established in 2008. Delta Eta Iota's main objective is to strengthen and empower women in society, also while encouraging the membership in other clubs on campus. We are based upon five pillars which are Friendship, Leadership, Academia, mentor-ship, and Charity.
Greek Life Council
Greek Life Council is a student ran organization operating through the University of Lethbridge as a means of bettering communication between the three Greek Organizations located on campus. Composed of members from Delta Eta Iota, Kappa Beta Gamma, and Kappa Sigma, Greek Life Council works to build programs and manage events with the purpose of improving relationships between the organizations and facilitating healthy relationships throughout the academic year. Collectively, members from the each organizations work to form an executive body within the Greek Life Council who communicate with the University's Student Union, and the University as a whole; getting our name and reputation out to build and strengthen our relationship with them.
